Chattertons is a leading 'Top 200' law firm and provider of wealth management services, based in Lincolnshire and across the East Midlands. The firm provides a comprehensive range of services delivering first class, client focused and trusted advice to individuals and businesses from its offices in Boston, Bourne, Grantham, Horncastle, Lincoln, London, Newark, Sleaford, Spalding, and Stamford.
Chattertons has worked in partnership with Call Plan Solutions for approximately 10+ years. During this time, Call Plan Solutions’ service levels have been consistently high.

Challenges faced
Chattertons is constantly looking at ways in which we can improve our client experience. The very best telecoms & IT solutions are paramount to delivering an exceptional, trusted experience.
Chattertons’ Mitel phone system was edging closer towards requiring significant investment, to maintain software assurance and support agreements. Consequently, Chattertons investigated different Unified Communications platforms. Ageing hardware was also reaching its ‘end-of-life’.
Chattertons was aware of BT Openreach’s PSTN switch-off in 2025 and were mindful to move away from legacy voice services. The consolidations of voice services over their Wide Area Network would lead to significant commercial benefits.
Business continuity was critical to Chattertons, as a significant proportion of their revenue is generated through client interactions.
Solutions & results
Working collaboratively with Call Plan Solutions, Chattertons were able to explore different telecommunication platforms, before finally deciding upon the very best solution for the business. Chattertons trialled Gamma Horizon and Mitel Connect before deciding upon 8x8 Works, with Microsoft Teams integrated.
